When the order is placed at our website you will be forwarded to a third party secure payment processer. At no point are your credit card details viewable by ourselves. The secure golden padlock symbol will appear in your web browser software when you are forwarded to the secure payment processor to enter your card details.
All Debit and Credit Card payments are processed by Nochex, a leading independent UK based online payment company using 128-bit encryption.
Encrypted Data Transfer All information entered on the Nochex paytment pages is encrypted in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. The highest commercially available encryption key length of 128-bits provided by Verisign is used.
3D Secure Our payment processor is 3D Secure enabled, meaning if your card issuer is participating in the 3D secure scheme you will be requested for your 3D secure password if you have already enrolled or invited to set-up a password if you haven't which you can either accept or decline to do. If your card issuer is not currently participating in the 3D Secure scheme, the transaction will be processed without a 3D Secure check.
Visa has called their version of the 3D secure scheme Verified by Visa and MasterCard have called their equivalent initiative MasterCard SecureCode. These are both collectively referred to as 3D Secure. 3D Secure can be thought of as an online version of Chip and Pin technology.
